What we keep, and why.

F1MC is a free, non-commercial Minecraft racing server run by one person. This page explains what this website shows about you and how to get it removed. Last updated 8 October 2026.

Who runs this

The F1MC server owner, based in the Netherlands. Questions or requests: collinvht@gmail.com.

What the website shows

Only what happens on the Minecraft server. We don't ask for your real name, email address or age.

Race results and race control messages are also posted in our Discord server.

Why

To run the races and show the results, which is what the server is for. Under the GDPR this is our legitimate interest (article 6(1)(f)): showing who drove what in races you chose to take part in. Nothing is sold, used for advertising or shared with anyone else.

Cookies and tracking

None. There are no cookies, analytics, ads or trackers, and every file on this site is served from our own server. Your browser keeps two things for you in local storage, and they never leave your device: which driver you picked as "you", and your livery editor preferences. Clearing your browser's site data removes them.

Server logs

Like any website, the server and our hosting provider may keep standard access logs (IP address, time, page) for up to 14 days to keep the site running and secure. The Minecraft server keeps logs with your IP address for up to 30 days, for moderation and security. We don't use either for anything else.

How long

Race results, lap times and championship standings are kept as the server's race history for as long as the server runs, unless you ask us to hide you (below). Replays are deleted after one year. Website access logs are kept for up to 14 days.

Your rights

You can ask what we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to take you off the website. Email collinvht@gmail.com with your Minecraft name. When you are hidden, your name and skin are replaced by "Hidden driver" everywhere on this website: results, live timing, replays, time trials and profiles, including race control messages that mention you. Parents can make this request for their child.

You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority, such as the Dutch Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
